A Hominy woman is dead after being struck by a vehicle in Osage County, OK.

The fatal accident occurred late last night around 10:15, when a 17-year-old male driver struck a pedestrian just north of the city of Pawhuska. The victim has been identified as 47-year-old Wendy Griggs. Griggs was taken to the Pawhuska Hospital where she died from her injuries.

The cause of the accident remains under investigation.
