Milk production in Kansas was up last month compared with last year.

According to the USDA's National Agricultural Statistics Service, milk production during November totaled 351 million pounds, up 3% from November of last year. The average number of milk cows was 181,000 head, 5,000 head more than November 2023. Milk production per cow averaged 1,940 pounds.
