The Independence City Commission will hold its last regular meeting of 2024 tonight.

The city's abatement of dangerous and unsafe structures will continue at tonight's meeting as there will be public hearings on 11 structures up for condemnation in the city. Commissioners will also consider an amendment for the scope of work and budget for the Trident Partnerships Community Development Block Grant.

The meeting convenes at 5:30pm in the Commission Room at City Hall in Independence.
