A suspect in three homicides is in custody in Oklahoma.
The Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation says a person of interest in three murders has been located and placed under arrest. The O-S-B-I says 42-year-old Richard Dewayne Chambers is connected to a murder in Midwest City and a double murder in Pontotoc County near the City of Allen, all of which happened on Wednesday morning.
A welfare check on Wednesday morning led to the discovery of the body of 62-year-old Annie Brown in her Midwest City home yesterday morning. An investigation revealed that Chambers had been living in the backyard of the home and had taken Brown's car. Chambers was taken into custody around 8:15am near Ada yesterday morning.
