Parsons Man Arrested After Crashing Car into Home

 

A Parsons man is arrested after driving into a home.

 

Sunday at around 2:55am, Parsons Police officers were dispatched to a crash at a residence in the 300 block of North 32nd Street. Upon arrival, officers located a 2020 Toyota Highlander that had collided with the residence. The vehicle was unoccupied, but witnesses provided officers with a description of the suspected driver. There were no injuries to the occupants of the residence reported.

 

A search of the area was immediately initiated. At around 3:05am, a PPD officer located an individual running from the area of the crash near 29th and Chess Streets. The individual matched the description provided by witnesses and was identified as 22-year-old Gavin Bolte. Further investigation determined that Bolte was suspected of operating the vehicle while under the influence of alcohol at over twice the legal limit. Bolte was arrested and is facing charges of DUI, interference with law enforcement, failure to report an accident, leaving the scene and other driving and registration related charges.
