The Kansas Department of Wildlife and Parks along with the Harvey County Sheriff’s Office are investigating a fatal hunting accident that occurred early Saturday morning.

The accident occurred near the City of Burrton and the victim appears to have died from a gunshot wound.

Authorities have not released the victim’s name or any other details of the incident at this time. More details will be shared as they become available.
