A motorcyclist is injured in a Sunday crash just southeast of Parsons.

25-year-old Charlie Basoco of Parsons sustained serious injuries yesterday when he struck the passenger side of a Chevy truck driven by 68-year-old Bennie Byrd, also of Parsons. Bosoco was traveling at a high rate of speed westbound on County Road 23000 when he struck Byrd, who was making a left turn into a private driveway. Bosoco was taken to Freeman Hospital in Joplin. Byrd was uninjured.
