The Montgomery County Commission is set to hear the results of the 2023 County audit at today's commission meeting.

 

Emily Franks, Accountant from the firm of Jared, Gilmore, and Phillips will be on hand to present the audit findings at this week's meeting. Commissioners will also hear from Sheriff Ron Wade, Undersheriff Christopher Williams, and Patrol Lieutenant Jeremy Hunsucker regarding 2025 patrol car purchases. Director of Coffeyville Electric Services Chris Weiner will also appear before the commission regarding a letter of support for the City of Coffeyville Broadband Equity, Access, and Deployment or BEAD grant application.

 

Commissioners will also hear updates from Brandon Buerskins with Public Works and County Administrator Jonathan Booe.

 

Today's meeting begins at 9am in the lower level of the judicial center in Independence. The meeting is open to the public.
