The Parsons Police Department is investigating a robbery outside the Pete's Convenience Store at 1430 Main.

The robbery happened at around 6:30pm yesterday and left a store clerk battered and shaken.  According to reports, two suspects entered the store pretending to be customers. The situation escalated when the suspects attacked the clerk after he followed them outside. The suspects punched the clerk and took his phone before fleeing the scene.

The department is reviewing surveillance footage from the store and surrounding areas and has increased patrols to ensure public safety. Residents are encouraged to remain vigilant and report any suspicious activity.
