Three people are in custody following an early morning standoff in Webb City, MO.

 

The incident occurred around 5:30 yesterday morning. The Jasper County SWAT team assisted with the Webb City Special Response Team in response. Officers surrounded the residence and began efforts to convince the occupants to surrender. Around 8:30, two males and one female exited the house and were placed under arrest. Authorities say the arrests were made in connection to an earlier incident in which two people were shot.

 

Following the arrest, officers obtained a warrant and searched the residence.
