A three-vehicle accident in Greenwood County leaves multiple people injured.
The accident occurred Tuesday evening around 6:15 at the junction of K-99 and US-400, just north of Severy. A GMC Savana driven by 44-year-old Christopher Dunaway of West Baldwin, Maine, attempted to pull onto US-400 from K-99 when his vehicle was struck on the driver's side by a semi
driven by 72-year-old Danny Jackman of Moran. A vehicle following the semi driven by 73-year-old Enrique Fernandez of Rogers, AR, also struck Dunaway's car.
Dunaway suffered serious injuries and was taken to Wesley Medical Center in Wichita. A passenger in his car 63-year-old Roberto Barrera of Toronto was taken to Eureka hospital with minor injuries. Three passengers in Fernandez's car along with Jackman also sustained minor injuries.
