A Family in Wilson County is named Kansas Farm Family of the Year.
Alfred and Taylor Crawshaw are among the ten families recognized across the state this year. The family was nominated by Wilson County Farm Bureau. The award recognizes outstanding Farm Bureau families who have distinguished themselves through participation in Farm Bureau programs and leadership, family activities, community and civic service as well as displaying good farm operation management. Families must also be actively participating in production agriculture, and Alfred says they keep pretty busy.
The Crawshaws received their award at the KFB annual meeting on Saturday. Taylor says it's an honor to be recognized and something they will treasure for years to come.
Taylor says she hopes the award will serve as an inspiration for others including their children Henry and Harlow.
