A Saturday morning fire in Crawford County leaves one person dead.

Crews responded to the fire in South Radley around 7 on Saturday morning. Witnesses say a female resident and two dogs were found deceased in the ruins of the house. Authorities have not yet been able to positively identify the victim and the remains have been sent to Kansas City for an autopsy to determine the cause of death.

The State Fire Marshal's Office is investigating the cause of the blaze.
