Kansas Governor Laura Kelly orders flags throughout the State of Kansas to be flown at half staff on all state buildings, grounds, and facilities from sun up to sun down tomorrow.
The move is in recognition of National Pearl Harbor Remembrance Day.
Kelly stated that we are reminded of the courage and sacrifice shown by service members on December 7, 1941, and that all Kansans are encouraged to honor those who fought for our freedom then and now on this 83rd anniversary of the Pearl Harbor attack.
