Repairs are coming to a rail crossing near Cherokee.
Starting Tuesday, Dec. 17, the South Kansas and Oklahoma Railroad plans to close and begin repairs at the K-7 railroad crossing between U.S. 400 and K-103. The crossing is expected to close to traffic around 6 a.m. Tuesday the 17th and reopen on Thursday afternoon, Dec. 19. K-7 traffic should follow the signed detour on U.S. 400, U.S. 69 and K-103.
