As the temperatures plummet and cold weather moves in, it's important to remember your outdoor pets.
Becky Barnhart with Coffeyville Friends of Animals says there are several things you can do with your outdoor dog's house to make it warmer.
Other tips for keeping outdoor animals in good condition is to feed them extra and to make sure they have access to water. Bathing you pet as little as possible during cold snaps will also allow their coats to build up essential oils that will keep them from getting dry skin.
