The Kansas Water Authority will meet next Wednesday in Parsons.

 

The K-W-A will discuss water issues in the state in an effort to ensure that water programs and policies of the State address the needs of the citizens of Kansas. Members of the K-W-A also serve as advisors of the state water plan that includes comprehensive planning for water management and conservation efforts.

 

The K-W-A was established in 1981 and consists of 13 voting members.

 

The meeting will take place from 9 am to 3pm at the K-State Southeast Research and Extension Center in Parsons.
