Two die in a house fire in Labette County.

Sunday at around 12:30am, the Oswego Fire and Police Departments were dispatched to a structure fire located at 630 Iowa St in Oswego. Upon arrival, two adults were pulled from the structure by firefighters.

Resuscitation efforts were unsuccessful, and both died from their injuries. They were identified as Don and Jo Wimp. Chetopa Fire Department was called to help assist for mutual aid. At this time, the Kansas State Fire Marshal has not determined the cause of the fire.
