A husband and wife lose their lives in a weekend fire in Oswego.

The Labette County Sheriff's Office says 91-year-old Don Wimp and his wife 90-year-old Jo Ellen Wimp were pulled from their burning home on Sunday evening. First responders attempted life-saving measures on both victims but their efforts were unsuccessful. Both victims succumbed to their injuries.

The Kansas State Fire Marshal's Office says the fire is not suspicious but the official cause of the blaze has not been determined.
