A motorcyclist sustained serious injuries in a two-vehicle accident in Labette County.

The crash occurred just before 1 yesterday afternoon on US-169 near Morehead. A 2015 Ford Focus driven by 23-year-old David Bruce of Norman, OK, was traveling north on US-169 when he slowed to make a left turn onto 27000 Road. 19-year-old Justin Brockway, of Denton, TX, was traveling behind the Ford on a Harley Davidson motorcycle. Brockway went left of center on a no-passing zone and struck the Ford on the driver's side.

Brockway was taken to Ascension St. John Medical Center for treatment, while Bruce was uninjured.
