A single-vehicle accident Friday morning in Leach, OK, leaves one man dead and another injured.

 

The accident occurred around 2:15am on Friday on Highway 412, bout 20 miles north of Talequah. A 2002 Chevy Tahoe driven by 20-year-old Thomas Potts drifted to the right off of the roadway, over corrected, and crossed the center line. The SUV then left the roadway to the left and went into the ditch. The vehicle overturned and came to rest on the driver’s side.

 

Potts was ejected from the vehicle and pronounced dead at the scene. A passenger in Tahoe – 19-year-old Jacob Cole – was partially ejected from the vehicle and sustained internal injuries. The cause of the accident remains under investigation
