Local firefighters respond to a skid steer fire in Wilson County.

Yesterday, crews from Wilson County Rural Fire responded to a report of an equipment fire east of Fredonia. Upon arrival, crews found a fire contained to a skid steer. According to the department, the operator was able to keep the fire contained to the piece of equipment until crews arrived. No injuries were reported in the incident.  Wilson County Rural Fire also assisted Fredonia Fire with a garage fire on Friday.
