One Injured in Rear-End Collision on US-75 in Bartlesville

 

A Tuesday evening accident on US-75 in Bartlesville leaves one person injured.

 

The accident occurred around 6:30 on Tuesday evening between a 3/4-ton pickup truck and a car at the intersection of US-75 and West 1100 (eleven hundred) Road. The injured party was transported to a hospital via personal vehicle for evaluation.

 

The accident caused the roadway to be closed for nearly an hour to allow emergency crews to clear debris and ensure the area was safe.

 

The cause of the crash is under investigation by the Oklahoma Highway Patrol. Assisting with the emergency response were  the Washington County Sheriff’s Office, Washington County Emergency Management, Bartlesville Ambulance, and fire departments from Copan and Dewey.
