ODOT Announces Delay of Bartlesville Highway Project

The Oklahoma Department of Transportation announces a delay in an upcoming highway repaving project in Bartlesville.

The resurfacing of US-60/Adams Boulevard from US-75 west to the city limit had been scheduled for completion next year. However, due to funding issues, ODOT has moved the project back to 2027. ODOT, which owns and maintains all state highways in Oklahoma, says inflation is to blame for the delay.

ODOT says project dates listed in its Eight-Year Construction Work Plan are considered tentative and are subject to available funding and other factors. Construction costs have increased 60% since 2022.

Officials say ODOT maintenance crews will continue making repairs as deemed necessary until a contracted project begins.
