A two-vehicle crash in Cherokee County leaves an Illinois man injured.
25-year-old Ahmed Ahmed-Modji sustained minor injuries yesterday evening when he struck another vehicle on US-400 after that car failed to yield the right of way. Modji was traveling southbound on K-7 near the city of Cherokee when a 2024 Volkswagon Atlas driven by 56-year-old Leah Clapp of Caulfield, MO, failed to yield. Clapp was traveling east on US-400 at the time.
Modji was taken to Pittsburg Mercy hospital for treatment. Clapp was uninjured.
