The Independence Historical Museum and Art Center will be bustling with Broadway tunes this Saturday night.
The Museum is hosting a Karaoke night and silent auction to benefit the Independence Children's Summer Theater. Organizer Jennifer Lasater says the show will feature past performers in the children's theater performing songs from past shows.
The evening will also feature a silent auction with lots of interesting items up for bid. Lasater says all the evening's proceeds will help cover production costs for the Children's Summer Theater.
Doors open at 6:30 and the show begins at 7 on Saturday night. Tickets are available at the , $10 for adults and $5 for students. The Independence Historical Museum and Art Center is located at 8th and Myrtle Streets in Independence.
