An Oklahoma man is alive and well thanks to the quick-thinking efforts of an OKC Police Officer.
On November 10, police were called to a bridge over the Oklahoma River for a welfare check on a man who appeared to have fallen asleep on the edge of the bridge.
Body cam footage shows the officer arriving and approch the sleeping man. Just as the officer reached him, the man rolled over and off of the bridge. The Quick-thinking officer responded by reaching out and catching the man by the hood of his sweatshirt and saving him from falling into the water below. A passing jogger helped the officer pull the man back onto the bridge.
The man was uninjured in the incident and the officer gave him a ride home, returning him to his family.
