Getting Enough Sleep is Important

 

At least seven hours of sleep a night is the recommended amount for adults.

 

Kansas Agriculture Safety and Health Program Project consultant Tawnie Larson says good sleep reduces health concerns and improves cognitive abilities.  Larson says it is important to get into a routine to encourage good sleep.

 

Larson says not getting enough sleep can be dangerous. She says sleepiness accounts for the highest number of single vehicle off road accidents.
