Parsons Schools Receive Grant to Help Students With Hygiene Needs

USD 503 Parsons schools receive a mini-grant to help district students acquire personal hygiene products.

The $1,000 grant was donated by the Parsons Area Community Foundation to the Care Cupboard Hygiene Pantry last week. Care Cupboard will be able to purchase hygiene products to give to the school district to have on hand for students in need who may not have the financial resources to purchase them. Prior to receiving this grant, nursing staff and many teachers at Parsons High School and Middle School purchased items themselves to have some handy should a student need something.

Students will be able to get free products from Parsons Schools, The Care Cupboard Pantry, and the Parsons Public Library at no cost.
