The Montgomery County Commission is set to hear public comments regarding the county's recent application for a Rebuilding American Infrastructure with Sustainability and Equity or RAISE grant.

 

Area residents who would like to comment on the grant application will be able to do so during the public comment portion of today's meeting. The purpose of the RAISE grant which comes through U.S. Department of Transportation is to help local governments improve travel infrastructure.

 

Commissioners will also hear a report from Kenneth Fecke with Community Corrections and Juvenile Services on year-end goals outcomes, plus an update on Public Works projects from Brandon Beurskins.

 

Today's meeting begins at 9am in the lower level of the Judicial Center in Independence. The meeting is open to the public.
