The City of Fredonia selects two people to take over interim duties as City Clerk and City Treasurer.

At last night's city commission meeting, commissioners approved the appointment of Deputy City Clerk Suzanne Pekrul to take over City Clerk duties and City Administrator Evan Bolt to serve as Interim City Treasurer. Both positions were open due to recent resignations. The City plans to begin advertising today to hire a part time treasurer on a permanent basis. The commission also approved the closure of streets in the downtown square at 4:30pm on December 4 for the city Christmas Parade.
