A 14-year-old Garden City middle school student is arrested following an alleged threat against Kenneth Henderson Middle School.

The student was taken into custody on Monday following an investigation, during which the student tried to strike a police officer. The student was taken to the Southwest Kansas Juvenile Detention Center in Garden City and faces charges of aggravated criminal threat and assault on law enforcement.
