Deer Shot and Left in State Park; KS Game Officials Search for Suspect

Officials from the Kansas Department of Wildlife and Parks are looking for the person who shot a deer and left in a north central Kansas state park.

The buck was found near the Glen Elder Dam inside Glen Elder State Park on Sunday morning. Officials note that hunting is legal in the park, but that hunters are required to check in and check out through an online system.

Anyone with information about who shot the deer should call the Glen Elder state Park Game Warden at 785-243-0553
