The Buckeye Street project in Coffeyville is on schedule.

That was the word from Montgomery County Public Works at this week's County Commission meeting. Commissioner Mike Cordray asks Brandon Beurskins with Public Works if the recent rain has been a problem.

Beurskins also told commissioners that his department has plans to examine a low-water bridge north of Cherryvale after the Thanksgiving holiday. The bridge has been closed for most of the year after being found to have structural issues. Public Works will remove parts of the bridge to determine if it can be repaired or replaced, though there is the chance that the structure will be closed permanently
