The Montgomery County Commission met today and completed the canvass of the results of the November 5th general election.
Commissioners considered the transfer of $700,000 in ARPA funds for Economic Development Incentives. Commissioners also discussed the cost to the county for burying unclaimed bodies from the county coroner's office. Brandon Beurskins with Public Works also updated the commission on the south Buckeye Project, which is on schedule despite the rain and other delaying issues. He also said the county has plans to determine the fate of a low-water bridge on County Road 6200. Crews will be able to examine the bridge soon after Thanksgiving.
