Rain continues to fall in the four states, and a flood watch is in effect for northeast Oklahoma.
The watch is in effect now through 6 p.m. tonight for Osage, Washington and Nowata Counties and areas to the south. Widespread rainfall up to three inches is expected, with more than four inches possible locally.
A wind advisory is also in place today for eastern Kansas, northeast Oklahoma and western Missouri. The advisory will be in effect for Kansas from 10 a.m. through 6 p.m. with south winds 20 to 25 gusting to 45 mph.
There is also a marginal chance of severe weather this afternoon, mainly for southcentral Kansas and northcentral Oklahoma. Large hail, damaging winds, heavy rainfall and a few tornadoes are all possible. There is a marginal risk of severe weather for the entire four-state area, but the main threat remains west of Coffeyville.
