Authorities in Oklahoma say an inmate has escaped from the Eddie Warrior Correctional Center in Taft.

 ODOC says 46 -year-old Deadrea Broadstone walked away from the facility around 2pm yesterday. Broadstone is serving a 10-year sentence for carrying a firearm after a felony conviction in Tulsa County. Officials say the public should not approach Broadstone and anyone with knowledge of her whereabouts s should call 9-1-1.

The Eddie Warrior Correctional Facility is a minimum security prison that houses more than 900 female inmates. It is located southeast of Tulsa.
