Several Washington County Sheriff deputies respond to a Tuesday morning call in Copan.

 

 Washington County Sheriff investigators and the Special Operations Team were in Copan to serve a search warrant on a suspect in an on-going investigation. In the process of serving the warrant, Sheriff Scott Owen says deputies arrested the suspect, Raymond J. Turner.

 

After taking Turner – who is also known as Raymond J. Conley – into custody,  deputies found a firearm and drug paraphernalia. Conley is a convicted felon.

 

Owen says Conley was taken without incident to the Washington County Detention Center where additional charges may be filed based on the investigation.
