Students from the Parsons High School Drama Department will take to the stage this weekend in a production of Emma: A Pop Musical.
The musical is a modern adaptation of the Jane Austin novel Emma and follows the story of a high school student who plays matchmaker for her own classmates, but ends up getting distracted from finding her own happiness. The show features songs from iconic female singers like Whitney Houston, Shania Twain, and Cyndi Lauper.
Show times are Thursday and Saturday at 7pm with a Sunday matinee at 2pm. The cost is $10 for adults and $5 for students and may be purchased at the door. All performances will be at the Parsons Municipal Auditorium.
