A Harper Man missing since August has been found deceased.
73-year-old David Reese was first reported missing on August 3rd. He was last seen driving his white Chevy Silverado pickup truck around that time and authorities issued a silver alert for him.
Reese's truck was finally located on Sunday in a dry creek bed in rural Barber County. Human remains found nearby have been identified as those of David Reese. The Barber County Sheriff's Office along with the Harper Police Department have been looking for Reese during the past few months and had conducted grid searches in the area where his truck was found. However, heavy vegetation near the creek bed limited visibility until recently, when Reese's truck was revealed. Authorities say the vehicle appears to have been wrecked.
The investigation is ongoing.
