Deputies with the Allen County Sheriff’s Office are looking for leads regarding a recent theft near Iola.

 

 The suspects are accused of stealing ten straw bales from a residence located just southwest of the city. The missing straw bales were part of a holiday display that had been taken down and were temporarily being stored on a pallet.

 

Local Crime Stoppers programs are non-profit organizations led by citizens against crime. Some Crime Stoppers programs offer cash rewards of up to $1000 to persons providing anonymous information, leading to the felony arrest of criminals and fugitives.

Allen County Crime Stoppers offers a cash reward of up to $1000 for information that leads to the resolution of this or any other felony crime.

 

The owners of the straw bales say they have little hope of recovering their property, so anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477) or send a mobile tip using the Crime Stoppers P3 app or message the Allen County Shierff’s Office Facebook page.
