Woman Finds Wedding Ring in Thrift Store, Hopes to Find Owner

A Missouri woman who bought a handbag in a Kansas City thrift store found a little something extra with her purchase.

When Carlie Goss looked inside her new, second-hand bag, she found a jewelry pouch with a golden wedding band inside. Now, Goss hopes to find the family of the ring's owner. Goss believes the ring is a woman's wedding band. The ring has the named Heinz and the year 1932 engraved on the inside. Goss purchased the bag and the ring at the Savers thrift store in Kansas City, Missouri. She has shared her story on social media in her effort to find the owner of the ring. Goss says she thinks the ring was donated by mistake, and that if she had done something like that, she would be grateful to get the family heirloom back.
