A 30-year-old man and a 24-year-old woman are arrested in southwest Missouri in connection to a string of vehicle thefts in the area.

 The two were taken into custody after Carl Junction Police and Newton County Sheriff's deputies found them in possession of stolen property. The arrests come after at least five reported thefts from vehicles in the the city of Carl Junction on October 18. The stolen property found in possession of the suspects included several items known to have been taken from the vehicles.

The names of the suspects have not yet been released.
