Authorities in Crawford County track down a stolen tractor in the middle of a tornado warning.

 The incident occurred on Monday evening as severe weather rolled through the Pittsburg area. A tornado warning was issued and in the middle of that warning, employees from Heritage Tractor on Highway 69 reported that an individual had stolen a tractor from their lot. Deputies located the slow-moving vehicle as it traveled northbound on the highway and returned it to the dealership. The suspect in the theft was identified as 34-year-old Adam Covington of Nevada, MO.

Covington has been booked into the Crawford County Jail on charges of felony theft.
