A crack sealing project will start soon on K-99 in Elk and Greenwood counties.

The Kansas Department of Transportation expects to begin the project tomorrow from U.S. 160 north for 18.6 miles to U.S. 400. Flaggers and a pilot car will guide one-lane traffic through the work zone. Drivers can expect delays of 15 minutes or less. Weather permitting, the road work should be finished by early December. KDOT awarded the construction contract to Pavement Pros of McPherson for $73,825.
