A tornado watch is in effect now until 6 p.m. for eastern Oklahoma.

The watch includes Osage, Washington, Nowata, Craig and Ottawa Counties and areas to the south. Tornadoes, large hail and damaging winds are all possible. Severe weather is likely for southeast Kansas and northeast Oklahoma from 2 to 6 p.m. KGGF will provide severe weather coverage this afternoon if needed.
