A vehicle / pedestrian accident last night in Granby, Missouri, injures a toddler and kills a Seneca, Missouri woman.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol says the call to 911 came in around 7:30 last night with a report of a pickup that collided with two pedestrians near the intersection of Granby Miners Road and Tower Road.
20-year-old Vidalia Boyer was walking along Granby Miners Road with a 3-year-old male toddler, when a southbound 2006 GMC pickup, driven by 60-year-old Jebb Hann, struck them on the edge of the roadway.
Life-saving measures were attempted, but Boyer was pronounced deceased at the scene. The toddler was transported to Mercy Hospital in Joplin with minor injuries. Hann was uninjured.
