The Galena Police is investigating the weekend death of a Carthage woman.

 G-P-D officers responded to 321 Clark Street on Saturday evening around 5:45pm after reports of a death at the location. Officers arrived to find an unresponsive female who was later identified as 50-year-old Stacy Miner. Miner was pronounced deceased at the scene.

G-P-D says Miner's death is currently under investigation but foul play is not suspected at this point. Officials are asking the public for help with the case. Anyone with information regarding this incident is asked to call the Galena Police Department at 620-783-1900.
