Discussions during the most recent Osage County, OK, Commission meeting grow heated.

 

 During the public comment portion of yesterday's (Monday's) meeting, former commission candidate Bud Beaston presented commissioners with photos of the Osage County Courthouse annex. Beaston said the pictures showed that construction on the courthouse annex was not structurally sound. District Two Commissioner Steve Talburt, who defeated Beaston in the June primary, says Beaston is not qualified to make that determination.

 

The man overseeing the courthouse construction Dalton Higgins says the project has been done to appropriate specifications.

 

The Osage County Commission will meet again next Monday at the Osage County Fairgrounds in Pawhuska.
