Wilson County Fire crews assist with a fire in Neosho County.

Yesterday around 2:30 p.m., Wilson County crews were requested by Neosho County for a reported field fire about one mile north and a mile west of the U.S. 169 and K47 junction. Wilson County assisted units from Chanute Fire, Erie, St. Paul, Thayer and Cherryvale. As crews were clearing the scene, they were then dispatched to a report north of Fredonia for a combine header fire.
